The New Small and MidSize Plan for Office 365, what do we get? To really see this we need to look underneath the Business Premium Package for which single Plans is it made up of:
Exchange Online Plan 1
Lync Online Plan 2
SharePoint Online Plan 1
So besides that I first out see that we can’t make the licensing as custom as we can with the Enterprise Packages. Like for example remove OneDrive for Business, but it’s good to see Office Online or Office Web Apps doesn’t follow SharePoint Online Plan anymore.
There is no 25 users limit anymore, but 300 users is the only limit. Making it easier for Companies below 25 users to choose Office 365 Plans for the future.
But the biggest advantage from my point, is that Business Essentials and Business Premium are hosted in the same platform as Enterprise, making it possible to mix Enterprise Plans with Business Premium.
For example, Microsoft will make Enterprise Mobility Suite available on Open Agreement making Microsoft Intune, Azure AD Premium and Azure Rights Management available for all customers, not only Enterprise.
