A Office 365 Management Pack for System Center Operations Manager is deployed for all Office 365 Admins to implement surveilence of Office 365 Services in their own Operations Manager.
Office 365 has enabled a Service Communication API and we have insigt to:
Real-time service health. New and ongoing service incidents and ongoing maintenance events that impact you can be queried for status updates
Message Center communications. Find Message Center communications that are applicable to your Office 365 environment.
Planned maintenance notification. Advanced notification of planned maintenance enables you to develop appropriate communications and operational strategies for your organization.
Meaning we can Access this information from Our own software connecting with this API, but using Operations Manager might be easier for the average IT Admin.
There are also support for Partners to Access the Service Communcation API on behalf of customers, as a value add or be possibility to outsource the surveilence of Office 365 Services.
