Windows Server 2012 R2 Sconfig

Using SCONFIG from the Command-line is a quick and easy way to manage simple configuration of Windows Server 2012 R2, wether it be Core Server or a GUI Server.

Type Sconfig in any Command-line Window and click Enter.


For everyone that used computers before we had Windows with mouse controller, we had the DOS menu navigated with the keyboard arrows. Well here is how Sconfig looks, but we control it with numbers:


Simple and fast way to Domain Join, Name Change (Netdom/Domain Joining prompts for Name Change), Network Settings (also available with netsh) and basic settings.
